WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A TOUR GUIDE AND A TRIP LEAD?
A tour guide is an expert in a particular topic or place, responsible for providing information, interpretations, and guiding tourists during a specific tour or at a particular location. They focus on educating & entertaining visitors with their knowledge of the destination. On the other hand, a trip leader has a broader role & manages the entire travel experience for a group of travellers. They handle logistics, ensure safety, manage budgets, and act as a point of contact throughout the trip. In a nutshell, while tour guides provide information, trip leaders organise, oversee, and facilitate the overall travel experience.
